Toddler Visit (August 2025)
Creating meaningful connections between generations has brough happiness and enjoyment to our residents at Langham Manor recently. The recent visit from a local toddler’s group, highlights the power and meaning that these visits and interactions with toddlers can have on the residents.
The visit from the toddler’s group was an uplifting event for all the residents, filling the home with lots of laughs and playful energy. The children, filled with curiosity lit up the resident’s day making them remember many happy memories with their families and grandkids.
The interaction between our residents and the toddlers created a memory that will be remembered by all. The residents were delighted to meet the toddler’s and play fun games and interactive activities.
The toddlers got to experience first hand the importance of kindness and sharing with others, while getting cuddles and playing fun games with an older generation.
The residents in our care home were delighted to play games with the children, laugh and have great fun interacting with a younger generation. This visit allowed the residents to break their daily routine and give them a joyful experience which has many benefits towards their mental health. Getting to play with the young children will uplift the resident’s mood and the happy environment will help to increase their overall well-being.
This visit is a testimony to the impact that the local community can have on the residents and the importance meaningful activities have in uplifting the general mood of the home.

Our Valentine's party was full of love and happiness, just the way that it should be♥️
With plenty of wine, cookies, cakes and dancing, everyone had an amazing afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
We even gave everyone a little Valentine's gift of heart chocolates😆
It wasn't a true party without Lauren singing, everyone dancing their socks off and lots of handmade decorations🥰
