We gathered together for some desert island discs in Kings Lounge, enjoying exploring each other’s musical choices from rock, pop, musicals to hymns🎶
We had a solo of ‘My Dear Mother’ from Gina, a solo from Drew and some poetry too!
Also chosen were two hymns, ‘Be Thou My Vision’ and ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful’ from Anne♥️
Mae chose the uplifting piece ‘You Raise Me,’ as a former professional ice skater, dancing to the full song so gracefully😆

It was a full house in our piano bar for our ‘At the Dancin’ Reminiscence; and of course we left some space for ‘the dancin’! 😆
Carlene said she was “the most popular girl at university as she had a first-floor bedroom, where people would chap the window to sneer in if the missed their curfew because they were late back from the dancing!”😂
We had two lovely Dorothys who both danced at the Museum Hall in Bridge of Allen, which they declared had “the best floor for dancin’ as it was springy!”😆
We took some requests, with a favourite definitely being ‘Daydream Believer,’ which showed some wonderful dancing on display from Grace, Anne, Ellen and carer Fidelis💃

It was a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon as we decided in the morning that we should make the most of the beautiful weather, which we did by enjoying a bar and garden sunshine social☀️
The sound of rehearsals for our talent show could be heard from our cinema room as we enjoyed good company and our choice of refreshments😆
Whether we were enjoying arts and crafts outside, being soaked by Anne and her water pistol, or enjoying June’s impromptu singing performance, a lovely afternoon was had by all♥️
