It was a ‘full house’ in our cinema. We gathered to hear renowned archaeologist and author Dr Murray Cook’s presentation on Medieval Stirling📜
We relished in the presentation, learning many new facts about Stirling and posing our own questions, too.
We were fascinated to hear the story of what is believed to be the oldest football in the world, estimated to be about 300 years older than any previously known, which is currently housed at The Smith in Stirling. Dr Cook explained that this unique artefact will soon travel to the World Cup for a special exhibition.
