Everyone enjoyed a right old knees-up when the wonderful entertainer Kirsty Beckett came to Townsend Manor! From the very first song, feet were tapping, bodies were swaying, and smiles lit up the room😆

Our Bistro was once again buzzing with laughter, friendly conversation, and the wonderful sense of community that makes these gatherings so special🫖
Our fantastic Activities Team were on hand to keep everyone refreshed, serving hot drinks, chilled refreshments from our brand-new hydration stations, and a delicious selection of freshly baked treats prepared by our talented kitchen team🍰

We enjoyed spending time together tackling puzzles, sharing plenty of cheeky chats, and, of course, enjoying some well-earned refreshments along the way☕🍪
Activities like these are a wonderful way to keep our minds active while having lots of fun. There was plenty of teamwork, laughter, and a real sense of achievement as the pieces came together.

Staying active is an important part of life at our home, and our regular chair exercise sessions are always a big hit💪🪑
Don't be fooled by the name - just because the exercises are done from a chair doesn't mean they're easy! These sessions are full of energy, with plenty of movement to get everyone working up a smile (and sometimes even a sweat!)😅
Today's session left everyone feeling refreshed and motivated, and it even inspired us to head outside afterwards for a lovely walk🌳🚶

Our talented crafters embraced a brand-new challenge this weekend by trying their hand at matchstick art🎨
This intricate craft required plenty of concentration, patience, and dexterity as each matchstick was carefully placed to create a chosen geometric pattern😆
It was wonderful to see everyone so focused and determined, with lots of encouragement shared along the way!
The finished creations were truly stunning - beautifully arranged geometric designs bursting with an array of vibrant colours. We couldn't be prouder of what everyone achieved🧑🎨

What a fantastic day out we had during our visit to Old Tiger Stables🐴🌿
Everyone loved meeting the beautiful horses up close, and there were plenty of smiles when we went to visit the friendly alpacas too🦙
The vintage tractor proved to be a real favourite, bringing back lots of happy memories and sparking wonderful conversations!
To top off a lovely afternoon, everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream - the perfect treat🍦
