Game On at Wimborne Manor💪
We’re so lucky to have residents who are always keen to try something new😆
We recently introduced the classic game Rummikub. A fun, fast-paced game that combines the strategy of Rummy with the tile-matching skills of Mahjong. It really gets those brain cells working!
With the help of her assistant, Ivie, Tammy guided everyone through the rules and helped everyone learn the game. There was plenty of concentration, laughter and teamwork, and by the end, everyone felt a real sense of achievement♥️
One resident summed it up perfectly by saying:�“Well… that got me thinking!”
It’s safe to say Rummikub was a big success, and we can’t wait for our next match🥰

Our Gardening Club has been busy creating a garden to be proud of👨🌾
Whether we’re growing beautiful flowers or tasty vegetables, we all love spending time outdoors - pulling weeds, enjoying nature, and of course, stopping for a well-earned refreshing drink!
Today was an exciting milestone… we harvested our very first TWO courgettes🌱
Straight to the kitchen they went, where our fantastic Head Chef, Greg, worked his magic. He transformed our homegrown courgettes into the most delicious courgette fritters, served with garlic mayonnaise. Safe to say they were a huge hit with both residents and staff😋
Now we can’t wait to see what else our garden has in store over the coming months🌿

Meet Freddie🐕
With so many wonderful visitors coming into our Home, we definitely have a few favourites… and they tend to have four legs and a furry coat🐾
Introducing Freddie, our adorable seven-month-old puppy visitor who joins us every month when his owner comes to clean our windows!
Freddie has been visiting us since he was just eight weeks old and has become quite the celebrity around the home🤩
He’s a firm favourite with our residents, and it’s safe to say nobody ever turns down one of Freddie’s kisses or cuddles♥️
As a dog-friendly Home, we love welcoming our furry friends through the door. They bring so much joy, laughter, and companionship to everyone they meet🥰
